Skilled Operator Skipton, 13ph + DOE, flexible hours, full training given Excellent opportunity for a level 2 qualified mechanical engineer or a skilled candidate looking for part time hours to work in an engineering and manufacturing environment. The role offers hours up to 30 per week and the opportunity to work full time long term. You will be required to set up, operate and maintain metal forming machinery ensuring production deadlines and product quality, full training given. The role:Working to drawings to set up and operate machinery to produce standard and bespoke partsEnsure quality through basic inspection activities Work to production targetsChecking machine is operating effectively, undertaking maintenance and required and changing toolingPacking finished parts for customer Reporting any issues an rectifying where possible Monday to Thursday - 7.15 am - 4.15 pm, Friday - 7.15 am to 12.15 pmPermanent position - 39 hours per week The Person:Excellent attitude to work with good attention to detailQuick to learn and keen to progressConfident aptitude and genuine Interest in mechanical engineering Previous metal forming machinery experience would be of great interest Any mechanical qualifications will be of great interest as is the ability to read an work to drawings Benefits:Full training Employee benefits schemeOvertime availableClean working environment with modern facilities The company are a successful SME who care about the people who work for them and offer ..... full job details .....
