Skilled Operative

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Skilled Operative for a construction project in Kirkcaldy.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and supplying cement/mortar for bricklayers, ensuring batches are mixed correctly and are ready when required.The day-to-day duties will consist of:Mixing batches of cement/mortar to the required ratio, consistency and specificationBeing able to independently mix a full batch of cement/mortar for bricklayersPreparing and supplying mortar to bricklayers throughout the working dayEnsuring bricklayers have a continuous supply of correctly mixed cement/mortarLoading and unloading cement, sand and other construction materialsMoving and handling materials around the siteOperating and cleaning cement mixers and associated equipmentMeasuring and preparing materials accurately for each batchCleaning and maintaining the mixing area, equipment and toolsKeeping the site clean, safe and tidyAssisting bricklayers and other trades when requiredCarrying out general skilled labouring dutiesPerforming all required duties as instructed by the Site Management teamWorking in accordance with site rules and industry health and safety standardsRequirements:Must hold a valid CSCS CardMust have previous experience mixing batches of cement/mortar independentlyMust be confident preparing the correct mix for bricklayingPrevious experience working alongside bricklayers or on bricklaying projects is preferredMust be able to work at a good pace and ..... full job details .....
