Skilled Machine Operator We are seeking a versatile and adaptable Skilled Operative to join our food manufacturing team. As a key member reporting to the Department Manager, the Skilled Operative will be responsible for maintaining health and safety standards, upholding food safety and quality, leveraging process knowledge and control, driving continuous improvement, and assisting in people management within the production environment. Working HoursMonday to Friday (Low Risk - Kitchen Area) 20:00 - 05:00 or (High Risk - Packing) 22:00 - 07:00 Pay Rate 13.76ph Role and Responsibilities Health and Safety: - Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. - Identify and report safety hazards to the Operations Manager promptly. - Participate in safety training programs and actively promote a safety culture. Food Safety and Quality: - Follow food safety procedures meticulously to uphold product quality. - Assist in quality control measures during the production process. - Communicate any quality issues to the supervisor for prompt resolution. Process Knowledge and Control: - Apply process knowledge to execute tasks with precision and efficiency. - Ensure control over specific tasks to contribute to overall process effectiveness. - Propose suggestions for process improvements based on operational insights.
