Skilled Labourer

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will have good practical skills, be able to carry out a range of general construction duties and have their own basic hand tools.

Duties

• General skilled labouring duties on construction sites
• Assisting tradesmen and site management
• Using basic hand and power tools
• Moving and preparing materials
• Carrying out basic construction, repair and maintenance tasks
• Keeping the work area clean, safe and tidy
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Carrying out other reasonable duties as required

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous construction experience
• Good practical and hands-on skills
• Own basic hand tools
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of site health and safety
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work

Desirable

• Experience in more than one construction trade
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, drylining, groundwork or other construction skills
• Relevant site qualifications or training
• Own transport
