Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of their diverse fleet and infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced technical expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our services.Job Responsibilities Perform complex diagnostic and repair work on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within our fleet (e.g., buses, trains) and associated infrastructure. Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support on intricate issues. Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize asset longevity. Conduct thorough inspections and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Analyze technical data and fault reports to identify root causes of failures and propose effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, safety, and procurement, to enhance overall system performance. Contribute to the design and implementation of engineering modifications and upgrades. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
