      <description>Location: Northern Ireland | Salary: 15000.00-15000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Northern Ireland Policing Board (NIPB). The Minister of Justice is seeking to appoint six independent members to the Northern Ireland Policing Board. The recruitment competition closes on 16th September 2026. The Northern Ireland Policing Board is an independent public body established under the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000. The Board is responsible for holding the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) to account on behalf of the public and has a key role in ensuring the provision of an effective, efficient and impartial police service which will enjoy the support of all sections of the community. It consists of both political members and independent members. We are seeking candidates who can meet the following criteria:  Managing and Influencing Relationships; Strategic Focus; Corporate Governance and Organisational Performance; and, Organisational Leadership.  Board Members will be required to commit to a minimum of four days per month (under review) to Policing Board business and to represent the Board at a variety of events.
