Location: Near Saffron Walden (Own Transport Required) Job Type: Permanent Salary: £33,228 DOE Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm Friday: 7:00am 4:00pm Our client is a leading global manufacturing company within the food and additives industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Site Trainer to join their busy manufacturing facility in Saffron Walden. Job Purpose Develop and deliver training programs to production staff, covering manufacturing processes, safety, and quality standards, while also creating training materials such as job aids and SOPs, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with management to identify and address training needs. Main Duties Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, process manuals, and presentations. Conduct on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and other training methods for new and existing employees, focusing on production, quality, and safety requirements. Coach shift team members in key manufacturing activities using one-point lessons (OPLs). Evaluate employee performance during training, provide constructive feedback, and ensure employees meet performance targets and required standards. Partner with production, quality, and technical teams to identify skill gaps and training needs, ensuring training aligns with operational changes.
