The Milton Keynes Academy is seeking a practical and motivated individual to join our Facilities Team to help ensure a safe, welcoming and purposeful environment for children, staff and visitors.The role involves a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with the fabric of the building, health and safety, grounds and facilities maintenance and security. You will need to be hands-on, develop and implement systems and procedures, maintain current ones, be mindful of environmental concerns, support risk assessments and their recommendations, and contribute to projects and maintenance schedules.The post requires a flexible roster between 06:00 and 22:00, directed by the Facilities Manager. Annual hours are based on an average working week of 37 hours over 52 weeks, with 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays (rising to 27 after 5 years’ service).We are based in central Milton Keynes. The Milton Keynes Academy joined Creative Education Trust in September 2018 to support rapid improvement for the students.
