About the Role

As the appointed Site Supervisor/Manager based in Plymouth, you will oversee the conversion of a residential home into a care support facility, commencing mid-August. This temporary contract offers £200-£250 per day and requires managing daily site operations, including health and safety, quality assurance, and subcontractor coordination. You will maintain site diaries, address potential issues promptly, and ensure project progress aligns with structural alterations and refurbishment plans. Essential qualifications include SMSTS (or SSSTS) and First Aid at work, alongside proven experience in residential conversion schemes.

We''re working with a well respected and adaptable local construction services provider that are about to undertake a residential home into a care support facility in the heart of Plymouth.
The scheme, featuring structural alterations and general refurbishment works, commences mid August and will require a ticketed Site Supervisor/Manager to manage the day to day delivery on site including H and S, quality control and sub-contractor co-ordination. You''ll also ensure that site diaries/records and kept updated and any potential issues are flagged and resolved.
In addition to having prior knowledge of residential conversion schemes, the usual SMSTS (or possibly SSSTS) and First aid at work will be required together with good communication, excellent H and S awareness and a willingness to lead from the front.
