Schools are seeking dependable and proactive individuals who can take responsibility for the security, maintenance, and day-to-day presentation of the school site. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the school remains safe, clean, and fully operational for pupils, staff, and visitors. Main Responsibilities Opening and locking the school premises daily Carrying out routine health and safety inspections Completing minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks Monitoring contractors and site visitors Ensuring the school grounds remain clean, safe, and secure Managing deliveries and moving equipment where required Supporting fire safety and emergency procedures Reporting maintenance issues to senior leadership Candidate Requirements Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor, Caretaker, or Facilities Assistant within a school environment Good understanding of health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Basic maintenance and DIY skills Reliable, organised, and hardworking approach Ability to respo...
