Site Supervisor - Groundworks & Civil Engineering

Location: Harborne
Salary: £280 - £300 per day (CIS)
 
We are looking to bring on an experienced Site Supervisor with the potential to step up into a Site Manager role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong groundworks background who is looking to progress their career within a growing business.
 
The Role
 
You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. The role will involve close coordination of site teams, subcontractors, and materials, with a clear pathway into site management.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site activities across groundworks packages
• Oversee concrete works, drainage, and utility installations
• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and quality standards
• Maintain high levels of health & safety compliance on site
• Manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
• Support the Site Manager and step into a leadership role when required

• Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Concrete works
  • Sewage pipes and drainage
  • Water supplies and pipe replacement
• Proven experience in a Site Supervisor or similar role

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• 3-Day First Aid Certificate
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment

• £280 - £300 per day (depending on experience)
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Clear progression into a Site Manager role
• Salary negotiable upon permanent transition
