About the Role

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Site Supervisor for a contractor in Plymouth, commencing immediately on a school refurbishment project. This temporary role offers a competitive rate with self-employed potential. You will oversee daily site operations, managing a small workforce to ensure quality and safety standards are met. The position requires SMSTS or SSSTS certification, valid First Aid at work, strong communication skills, and excellent health and safety awareness. Reporting to senior management, duties include liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers, plus maintaining site diaries and records. A relevant project history and a proactive leadership approach are essential.

A thriving, locally based contractor about to commence a small school refurb scheme is seeking in the form of a competent and diligent Site Supervisor.
In addition to having a relevant project history, the usual SMSTS (or possibly SSSTS) & First aid at work will be required together with good communication, excellent H & S awareness and a willingness to lead from the front.
You'd be responsible responsible for the day to day supervision of a small workforce, ensuring the work is executed with quality in mind and in a safe manner. Reporting into a Senior management team, you'll also potentially have some liaison with the client, consultants and the supply chain and be responsible for updating site diaries and records. Additionally, as this is a small works contract, if you're happy to assist with basic decorating that would be greatly appreciated!
