Job Title: Site SupervisorLocation: BurnleyAbout the Role We are seeking a reliable, proactive and highly organised Site Supervisor to join our friendly primary school team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our school premises are safe, secure, well-maintained and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards and will play an important part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school.Key Responsibilities Opening and closing the school site daily, including security checksEnsuring the safety, cleanliness and general upkeep of buildings and groundsCarrying out minor repairs, maintenance and DIY tasksLiaising with contractors and overseeing works on siteManaging health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and record keepingConducting regular site inspections and reporting issuesMaintaining heating, lighting and alarm systemsSupporting school events with room setup and site arrangementsEnsuring compliance with safeguarding and statutory regulations The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience in site management, facilities, caretaking or a similar roleGood practical maintenance skillsKnowledge of health and safety procedures (e.g. COSHH, fire safety)Strong organisational and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently and manage prioritiesGood communication skills and a positive, flexible attitudeA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of ..... full job details .....
