Site Supervisor (Nights) - Highways DrainageLocation: M65 corridor, East LancashireContract: 3-5 monthsStart: Monday 26 OctoberShift pattern: Night shiftsRate: 400- 425 per shift, CIS/Umbrella Client: Tier 1 Highways ContractorWe are looking for two experienced Site Supervisors to support a Tier 1 Highways Contractor delivering drainage works on the M65 corridor.You will oversee night-shift delivery of highways drainage activities, ensuring gangs and subcontractors work safely, productively and in line with programme, quality and client requirements.ResponsibilitiesSupervise direct labour, drainage gangs and subcontractors on night shifts.Coordinate daily works, labour, plant, materials and traffic-management interfaces.Ensure works are completed safely and in line with approved RAMS, permits and quality standards.Carry out site briefings, toolbox talks, checks and progress reporting.Monitor drainage installation, excavation, reinstatement and associated highways works.Liaise with the Site Agent, engineers, client team and supply chain to resolve issues quickly.Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, inspections, quality paperwork and completed works.RequirementsPrevious Site Supervisor, General Foreman or Works Supervisor experience on highways projects.Strong drainage experience, ideally including motorway or live-carriageway work.Comfortable supervising night-shift operations and coordinating multiple gangs.Valid CSCS and SSSTS or SMSTS essential.NRSWA, NHSS, ..... full job details .....
