Site Supervisor

GVR Solutions-are currently working with an established contractor delivering a number of fire remediation projects across London and the surrounding areas, and are looking for experienced Site Supervisors to join their projects on a freelance basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Supervisor with a strong construction background and, ideally, previous experience working on fire remediation, cladding, fa-ade, refurbishment or building safety projects.

Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor-include:

• Supervising subcontractors and site operatives on a daily basis
• Coordinating trades and ensuring works are progressing in line with programme
• Monitoring site activities and maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMS
• Maintaining strong health & safety standards across site
• Carrying out regular site inspections and reporting any issues
• Liaising with the Site Manager and wider project team
• Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics
• Identifying and resolving day-to-day site issues
• Keeping accurate site records and reporting progress
• Ensuring the site remains clean, safe and well organised

The Site Supervisor must have/be:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry
• Experience working on refurbishment, remediation or fa-ade projects
• Fire remediation experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of construction health & safety
• Experience supervising multiple trades and subcontractors
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach, CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS and First Aid
