Job Title: Site Supervisor

Job Type: CIS or Umbrella – 4 month contract

Location: Norwich

Salary: £25 - £26.50 per hour

Company & Project: 

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected groundworks and civil engineering contractor, who are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a busy commercial project. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with strong leadership skills to play a key role in delivering high-quality work on time and to budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise groundworks activities on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manage site labour and subcontractors, allocating work effectively.
• Liaise with Site Manager, Project Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor progress against programme and report on site performance.
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company standards.
• Support toolbox talks, inductions, and risk assessments.

Desirable Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor (groundworks/civils essential).
• Strong knowledge of groundwork operations on commercial projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Valid CSCS card and First Aid
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
