Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor will be an experienced Cable Jointer or Civil Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career (e.g., LV Jointing, Substation fit outs etc.). Supervisory experience is not essential as we will support your transition into this position. You will be responsible for supervising the management of projects to ensure they run to agreed timescales as efficiently as possible whilst controlling subcontractors, materials, and any on-site issues. You will be responsible for attending pre-start meetings, progress meetings, and project handovers. You will have the overall responsibility for the safe working and health and safety on site, ensuring that operatives are adhering to HandS requirements including carrying out Quality of Work, Health and Safety and Behavioural Audits. Regular travel will be required to make this role successful, supervising sites within your region. Job requirements Essential: Minimum of 3 years experience as a Cable Jointer or Civil Engineer. Relevant certifications in cable jointing, safety management, or project management are preferred. Valid UK Driving Licence. Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders Good PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good health and safety knowledge and practices Desirable: Previous experience as a supervisor or a team leader, but not essential.
