Site Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Working Site Supervisor to join our team on a major distribution centre fit-out in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This is a hands-on role where you''ll be leading by example, supervising trades on site while remaining actively involved in the installation works. The ideal candidate will have a strong fit-out background, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Work alongside the installation team as required.
• Ensure works are completed in line with programme and quality standards.
• Conduct daily site briefings and maintain high Health & Safety standards.
• Monitor progress and report directly to the Site Manager/Project Manager.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials and labour requirements.
• Carry out quality inspections and snagging.
• Ensure RAMS are followed and site documentation is maintained.
• Promote a positive, professional working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Working Supervisor on commercial or industrial fit-out projects.
• Experience delivering large warehouse or distribution centre fit-outs is highly desirable.
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certificate.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Ability to read drawings and manage works to programme.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
