Site Supervisor

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on a solar farm project. This is a fully field-based role, ideal for someone who thrives working outdoors and actively supporting site teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while also assisting the workforce and operating machinery when required. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily site activities on the solar farm Provide direct support and guidance to site operatives and subcontractors Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company policies Actively participate in site work, including assisting the workforce where needed Operate plant and machinery as required Monitor progress and report on project milestones to management Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks Maintain site records and ensure compliance with project specifications Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently Requirements: Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification essential Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within construction or renewable energy projects (solar preferred) Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites Ability to operate machinery and plant equipment Hands-on, proactive approach with strong leadership skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Willingness to work ..... full job details .....
