Site Services Mechanical Fitter

Elevation Recruitment Group''s Engineering Services Division are supporting a long standing client to recruit a Mechanical Fitter as part of the expansion of their Field Based Site Services Team.The Site Services Team supports their established client base with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical materials handling systems at customer sites across the UK, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and in full compliance with UK health and safety legislation, company policies, and customer requirements.The Mechanical Fitter will also have the opportunity to develop to Team Leader level over the next 12 months.Key Responsibilities and Core Duties for the Mechanical Fitter include: Install, maintain, and repair materials handling systems, including chains, conveyors, sprockets, bearings, valves, and associated mechanical equipmentProvide on-site mechanical support to customers, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs in line with agreed Service Level AgreementsWork from engineering drawings, identifying discrepancies, changes, or omissions, and feeding these back to enable drawing updatesEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with approved Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)Strictly follow Safe Systems of Work, including Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and site-specific safety rulesSkills and Experience required for the Mechanical Fitter role include:Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or ..... full job details .....
