Job Description:

The purpose of the job is to lead the deployment of the Pet Nutrition Europe RandD strategy on the site, driving continuous improvement in Quality and Food Safety management systems, compliance with QandFS and product design standards, and implementation of the site''s product, process, and packaging development pipeline.Location:

Extensive experience in a technical functionDegree level qualification in a relevant technical or scientific discipline (Food Science/Technology, Biological, Chemical, Engineering sciences), or equivalent experienceExperience in leading and managing projects in an FMCG environmentProven line management/supervisory experience or a track record in coaching and developing teams and individualsKnowledge of Quality and Food Safety management systems and standardsKnowledge of technologies, processes, formulations, and raw materials used in food manufacturing is preferredExcellent communication skillsGood command of the English languageWhat will be your key responsibilities?

Lead, coach, and support a team of Site RandD Associates, ensuring they have the necessary resources, skills, and competenciesRepresent RandD as a key member of the Site Leadership team, supporting the development and implementation of the local site strategyDevelop and deploy a local RandD strategy aligned with the broader site strategyEnsure the development of a clear roadmap for full compliance with global QandFS standards, collaborating with local and central teamsIntegrate QandFS procedures into manufacturing systemsAct as the incident owner for QandFS incidents on site, leading corrective and preventative actionsParticipate in regional QandFS communities to share knowledge and experienceLead regional or cross-site activities in line with regional QandFS strategy, collaborating with other managers and functionsWhat can you expect from Mars?
