(SPO) to support our client based in Hartlepool on a temporary contract, working 12-hour shifts alternating between days and nights.
The SPO will contribute to the full emergency preparedness programme, deliver operational response to fire and rescue incidents, and provide on-site security support. You will maintain readiness of equipment, conduct routine testing of safety systems, and respond to alarms and incidents as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Firefighting, rescue, and emergency response duties
- PPE and equipment maintenance and inspection
- Confined space and working at height operations
- Monitoring alarms, CCTV, and managing site access
- Participation in pre-incident planning and emergency drills
Key Requirements
- SIA Licence
- FREC Level 3
- Confined Space
- Rescue from Height
- Fire & Breathing Apparatus (BA)
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in emergency services, security, or industrial response
- Able to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
- Reliable, resilient, and physically fit
- Strong communication and situational awareness
