About the Role
This full-time Site Operative / Driver – Exeter position with RGB Recruitment supports clean water repair works throughout Devon. Based in Exeter, the role involves driving to sites, placing No Parking cones ahead of repairs, and setting up or collecting signs, barriers and cones. Assisting with backfilling forms part of daily duties, alongside regular manual handling and heavy lifting. Working hours run from 1pm or 2pm until 9pm, with flexibility offered. A full UK driving licence is essential. Streetworks training is provided, so prior experience in that area is not required. Pay is £17.79 per hour under umbrella PAYE, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Site Operative / Driver to support clean water repair works across Devon.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road and working outdoors. Streetworks training will be provided, so previous Streetworks experience isn't essential.
The Role
- Driving from the Exeter base to sites across Devon
- Placing “No Parking” cones ahead of repair works
- Setting up and collecting signs, barriers and cones
- Assisting with backfilling when required
- Supporting safe and efficient site operations
- Regular manual handling and heavy lifting
- Full UK driving licence – essential
- Happy driving across Devon
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Previous site, construction, utilities or highways experience beneficial but not essential
