We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual who thrives in dynamic environments to join our site leadership team.Site Transport and Operations Supervisor - Key Responsibilities for Operational SuccessOversee and coordinate all site transport activities, ensuring vehicles, deliveries, and schedules run smoothly, efficiently, and safelyMaintain effective communication with internal teams, third-party hauliers, and suppliers to facilitate timely, accurate dispatch and receipt of goodsProactively resolve daily transport and operational challenges, identifying improvements and implementing solutions to enhance performanceSupervise and support site-based team members, promoting high standards and a culture of collaboration, safety, and wellbeingMonitor and analyse delivery metrics, site performance, and compliance with Health and Safety, quality, and environmental standardsAssist with resource planning, including staff rotas and vehicle allocation, to meet fluctuating operational demandsEnsure accurate completion, maintenance, and reporting of key operational records and documentationSupport a safe and legally compliant Cross Dock and Transport operationSupporting the Cross Dock operations, operating plans, fleet, equipment and resourcing levels meet demandHelp to Manage driver hours in line with working time legislationHelp to Organise service ..... full job details .....
