This is an immediate start, ongoing temporary position - perfect for someone reliable, practical, and proud of keeping environments safe, clean, and running smoothly.The RoleYou''ll play a key role in maintaining school buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-presented environment for students and staff.Your day will include:General maintenance, caretaking and reactive repairsOpening/closing sites and managing site security and alarmsBasic plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating tasksGrounds maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing pathways)Supporting deliveries and moving furnitureResponding to urgent issues and occasional out-of-hours emergenciesTravelling between sites to support where neededWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience in a caretaker / maintenance / handyman rolePractical skills across basic trades (plumbing, carpentry, decorating)Good understanding of health and safety proceduresAble to work independently and prioritise workloadStrong communication and reliabilityFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle -essentialEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) - essential Bonus Experience (Desirable)Experience working within a school or education ..... full job details .....
