Site Manufacturing Manager

Site Manufacturing Manager On behalf of our high-precision manufacturing client in Chelmsford, we are seeking an experienced Site Manufacturing Manager. You will oversee the entire production process to ensure the facility produces goods efficiently, safely, and on time. In this role, you will maintain the highest quality standards while driving continuous improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities Production Oversight: Manage the full production life cycle from order intake to final delivery. This includes maintaining compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Contract Review and Planning: Lead and control the contract review process for all incoming customer orders. You will assess order complexity and capacity to develop optimal production schedules. Subcontracting and Resources: Evaluate and decide when to subcontract elements of orders to external partners. You must balance staff and material resources to meet customer expectations. Schedule Management: Support department team leaders as they implement production schedules. You will proactively reschedule plans to respond to changing priorities or material availability. Quality and Coordination: Enforce strict quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
