Site Manager

VGC Group are recruiting for the following position:

Role – Site Manager

Location – Balmuildy Primary School (G64 3AJ)

Salary/Rate – £34 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)

Duration – 8 Weeks, Immediate start avaliable 

Overview:

VGC are currently looking for a site manager for a school build in Bishopbriggs (G64 3AJ). Candidate should be experienced in internal finishes, likely duration 8 weeks with immediate start for the right candidate. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing weekly work plans aligned with the project programme.
• Coordinating and sequencing partitions, floor finishes, ceilings, and taping/decorating works to ensure efficient delivery and integration with M&E installations.
• Monitoring and enforcing high standards of health, safety, quality, and productivity across all internal finishes activities.
• Working closely with the Building Services Manager to coordinate construction and M&E requirements.
• Conducting weekly SHE inspections and daily quality inspections.
• Chairing fortnightly subcontractor progress meetings and driving programme performance.
• Reporting directly to the Project Manager, Ian Craw, on progress, risks, and key project milestones.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing internal fit-out packages, excellent planning and coordination skills, and a proactive approach to quality, safety, and programme delivery.

Required Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
