Remote (with regular travel to sites: London, Scarborough, Manchester)Salary:

All travel and site-related expenses coveredAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Site Manager
to oversee multiple utility infrastructure sites across the UK. You will be responsible for managing the safe, efficient, and quality delivery of on-site works — including substation energisation, civils, cabling, lighting installation, and authorising DNO access to substations (SAP involvement).Key Responsibilities:Manage
multiple live utility construction sites
simultaneously across different regions.Oversee and coordinate on-site activities such as:• Substation energisation• Off-site civils delivery• Cable pulling operations• Small panel and lighting installationsEnsure
health and safety, compliance, and site protocols
are rigorously followed.Handle
authorisation processes with DNOs , including SAP requirements.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.Provide
progress reports
and flag risks or delays to senior management.Supervise site teams and ensure all works are delivered to required standards.Requirements:Proven experience managing
utility or infrastructure sites
(power, civils, or ICP environments ).Must hold
SMSTS
(Site Management Safety Training Scheme).Must hold
NRSWA
(New Roads and Street Works Act) certification.SAP
authorisation/qualification
highly desirable .Strong understanding of
substation operations
