Site Manager (Freelance) Manchester City Centre£250 per day40-Week ContractStart Date: Week Commencing 12th October 2026We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a major commercial fit-out project in Manchester City Centre.This is an excellent opportunity to oversee a high-profile workplace fit-out scheme valued at approximately £5 million, working with a well-respected commercial interiors contractor on a long-term contract lasting around 40 weeks.The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities include: Managing all on-site activities throughout the fit-out programmeMaintaining and enforcing site Health and Safety proceduresReviewing and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)Coordinating subcontractors and site logisticsMonitoring programme milestones and project progressConducting site inspections and quality checksResolving site issues proactively to minimise delaysMaintaining accurate site records and documentationEnsuring works are completed in line with project specifications and client expectations Essential Requirements To be considered, candidates must have: Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out, workplace interiors or refurbishment projectsExperience delivering projects valued at £4 million+Experience working on projects ..... full job details .....
