Salary: Up to £58,000 + Package

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a well-established and respected housing developer for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

This role is ideally suited to someone ready to transition into a Site Manager position, offering full support, structured development, and a clear pathway for progression within a growing business.

You will join the team as a Site Manager, working closely with an experienced Senior Site Manager to gain full exposure to the entire build lifecycle.

Initially, you will take responsibility for managing housing association plots from inception through to completion. As you develop in the role, you will progress to managing your own site within the company’s upcoming pipeline.

• Support the Senior Site Manager in delivering a section of the development
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
• Monitor build quality and ensure compliance with NHBC standards
• Assist with programme management and provide regular progress updates
• Maintain high standards of health & safety across site operations
• Gradually take full ownership of site activities as you progress into your Site Manager role

• Current experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager within residential housebuilding
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and NHBC standards
• Ambitious, proactive, and ready to step up into a Site Manager position
• Excellent communication skills with leadership potential
• SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
