Site Manager Location: Southwark, Greater London, EnglandJob Type: Contract, Full-TimeSalary: £33 - £38 per hourIndustry: ConstructionWe are looking for a Site Manager to oversee a retail fit out project in London. The role commences on 5th October and is expected to last for six weeks. This is a full-time contract position requiring strong leadership and hands-on management of the site to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Job Duties Manage all day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including site inspections and risk assessments.Monitor progress against programme and manage resources efficiently to meet deadlines.Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, site diaries, and quality control documentation.Oversee the retail fit out works, ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to design specifications.Collaborate with project managers, clients, and designers to resolve any site issues promptly.Manage site logistics, including deliveries, storage, and waste management.Conduct regular site meetings to communicate progress and address any concerns.Ensure all site personnel hold the necessary qualifications and licences to work safely and legally. Required Qualifications Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.Current First Aid qualification.Full, clean ..... full job details .....
