Site Manager Location: Isle of Wight, South East EnglandContract Type: Fixed-term contract (12 months), Full-Time hoursStart date: October 2026Salary: £280 - £300 per day (excluding accommodation or fuel)Industry: ConstructionAbout the Role We are seeking a Site Manager for a year-long contract based on the Isle of Wight. The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing a residential construction project that includes demolition, scaffolding, glazing and fire remediation works. This position requires hands-on management to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate and supervise all site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Manage subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring progress and resolving any issues that arise on site.Oversee demolition works, scaffolding erection and management, glazing installation, and fire remediation processes.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.Maintain clear and accurate site records, including daily reports, risk assessments and method statements.Lead toolbox talks and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement among the workforce.Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.Manage resources efficiently, including labour, materials ..... full job details .....
