Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.Chichester, UKFull-time/PermanentCompany OverviewA well-established Building Services Contractor with over 4 decades of experience, delivering complete Mechanical and Electrical services across a wide range of sectors including Industrial, Logistics, Food, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Mining, Healthcare, Commercial, Hotel and Leisure, High-End Residential, Public, and Energy.Job DescriptionDue to continued growth, an experienced Mechanical Site Manager is required in Chichester.This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve daily liaison with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors, and Subcontractors.Responsibilities:Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.Ensure all relevant permits are in place.Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, etc.On-site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour.Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.Manage relevant external correspondence.Order all day-to-day site materials.Update appropriate information to progress reports.Maintain document management systems.Manage project-specific scheduling.Communicate changes to the project team.Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.QualificationsRelevant trade qualification or further education qualification in mechanical building services.Minimum of 5 years’ experience.Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role.People management experience.Project Management experience beneficial.Computer literate with strong interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel if/when ..... full job details .....
