Site Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to provide two weeks'' cover on a student accommodation conversion project in Bath.

The project involves the conversion of an existing office building into student accommodation, with the successful candidate taking full responsibility for the site during the initial works period.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility as No.1 Site Manager.
• Manage site opening and closing each day.
• Take ownership of all site health & safety requirements.
• Carry out site inductions and maintain site records.
• Coordinate subcontractors and initial site activities.
• Oversee the site set-up and logistics.
• Manage minor strip-out and demolition works.
• Oversee internal ground preparation works ahead of piling.
• Coordinate scaffold installation.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with programme.

Requirements

• Previous Site Management experience.
• Experience within commercial refurbishment, conversion or residential projects.
• Strong health & safety knowledge.
• Confident managing subcontractors and site operations.
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
