Site Manager

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established commercial fit out contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality workplace, office refurbishment and interior fit out projects across the UK.

The business specialises in creating modern, high-specification commercial environments, working closely with blue-chip clients to deliver projects safely, on programme and to exceptional quality standards. Due to a new project award, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead a CAT B office fit out in Bristol.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of this fast-paced CAT B fit out project. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage programme, maintain quality standards and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and within budget.

This role would suit a proactive Site Manager with a strong commercial fit out background who is confident managing multiple trades and maintaining excellent client relationships throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of the CAT B office fit out.

Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and material deliveries.

Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Monitor progress and manage the construction programme.

Carry out quality inspections, snagging and handover activities.

Maintain site health and safety, ensuring compliance with all legislation and company procedures.

Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to the Project Manager and client.

Maintain accurate site records, RAMS and project documentation.

Requirements

Previous experience managing CAT A and CAT B commercial fit out projects.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Strong leadership with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors.

A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
