Freelance Site Manager Fit Out and Refurbishment Location: Stratford, London Rate: £300 £320 per day Contract: Freelance Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work with an established construction and fit-out contractor delivering projects across the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day management of site operations Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and trades Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues Ensure high standards of health and safety and quality are maintained Carry out inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections Manage site logistics, deliveries and welfare Maintain accurate site records and progress reports Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants and other stakeholders Coordinate daily and weekly works Assist with project handover and close-out Requirements Proven Site Manager experience within fit-out, refurbishment, retail, hospitality or commercial projects SMSTS CSCS Card First Aid at Work Asbestos Awareness Fire Marshal PASMA Strong subcontractor and trades management experience Good understanding of construction programmes, drawings and specifications Strong communication and organisational skills Experience with Temporary Works, IPAF or an NVQ Level 6 in ..... full job details .....
