Site Manager

Location: Swindon
Rate: -300 per day (Freelance)
Duration: Immediate start until early December

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a project in Swindon, converting an existing factory into a laboratory facility. This is a freelance opportunity running through to the start of December.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades.

• Manage site health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Monitor progress against the programme and ensure deadlines are met.

• Coordinate works associated with the conversion of an existing factory into a laboratory.

• Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed to the required specifications.

• Liaise with the client, project team and subcontractors to resolve any issues.

• Maintain site records, RAMS and relevant health and safety documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment, conversion or fit-out projects.

• Strong subcontractor management and organisational skills.

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures and site documentation.

• Ability to manage a fast-paced project and drive progress through to completion.
