Site Manager - Solar

A well-established client are looking for a Solar Site Manager to start ASAP for their upcoming large-scale ground mount solar farm project in the Lincolnshire area.

This will be a 12-month contract and you MUST have previous experience of working on a large-scale solar farm project. Other essential requirements include SMSTS, First Aid, NVQ Level 6 and a Black CSCS card.

Responsibilities include:

• Site Leadership:
  Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

• Health, Safety & Environment:
  Enforce HSE standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with CDM regulations and RAMS.

• Programme Management:
  Monitor progress against the construction schedule, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Subcontractor Coordination:
  Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.

• Quality Assurance:
  Oversee inspections, snagging, and commissioning processes to ensure the highest standards are met.

• Stakeholder Communication:
  Act as the main point of contact for the client, project managers, and local authorities.

• Reporting:
  Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and incident logs. Provide regular updates to senior management.
