Astute''s Power Team are currently recruiting for a Site Manager (Solar) to join the Principal Contract on the delivery of on a new build 20MW Solar farm based in Caerphilly, Wales.The Site Manager (Solar) position comes with a day rate from 500.00 to 550.00 per day outside of IR35.Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:Coordinate logistics with Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipmentConduct pre-construction site assessments and manage site setup, including temporary facilities, temporary access roads, and laydown areas.Lead and manage on-site subcontractor teams ensuring efficient workflows for timely completion.Supervise all construction activities, including but not limited to: delivery logistics and materials distribution, groundworks, civil works, structure installation, module mounting, electrical and earthing works, commissioning, site reinstatementCollaborate with Principal Designer during the development of the Risk Register during pre-construction, and ensure a smooth handover when construction starts.Act as Principal Contractor and ensure all construction activities comply with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations, including CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.Implement and enforce health and safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular toolbox talks focused on daily planned activities and associated risks, site ..... full job details .....
