Site Manager (Social Housing Refurbishment) Portishead Long-Term Programme (circa 2 years) Freelance Contract £250 day The Opportunity We''re looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee internal refurbishment works on a major residential regeneration programme in Portishead. Working alongside the Project Manager and wider site team, you''ll take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of internal works within large occupied apartment blocks, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard while residents remain in occupation. This is a long-term opportunity to join a secured programme with circa two years of work ahead, offering stability and the chance to play a key role on a significant live refurbishment scheme. The Role Manage day-to-day site operations across internal refurbishment works Oversee works within large occupied residential blocks while maintaining a safe and positive environment for residents Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades and direct labour Drive programme performance and maintain project momentum Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification Monitor quality standards and manage snagging through to completion Liaise with residents, client representatives and the wider project team Maintain site documentation, reports, permits and compliance records Support resident engagement and minimise disruption throughout the works Ensure high standards of health and safety, customer care and ..... full job details .....
