Job Opportunity: Freelance Construction Site Manager - Industrial Warehouse ProjectLocation: South Shields, UKContract Type: FreelanceProject Duration: 4 to 5 MonthsStart Date: ImminentlySector: Industrial ConstructionAbout the ProjectWe are seeking an experienced, results-driven Freelance Construction Site Manager to step in immediately and oversee the rapid delivery of a fast-track industrial warehouse build in South Shields.Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take full on-site control of the remaining construction phases, driving the project efficiently through handoverKey Responsibilities Rapid-Response Site Leadership: Take immediate control of day-to-day site operations, coordinating all active sub-contractors, trades, and on-site staff. HandS Compliance: Ensure uncompromising standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance, running regular tool-box talks and site audits under a compressed schedule. Accelerated Programme Delivery: Closely manage the fast-track construction schedule, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing immediate corrective actions to keep milestones strictly on track. Quality Assurance: Oversee rigorous quality control inspections for structural steel frame components, cladding, and industrial flooring finishes. Stakeholder Liaison: Lead regular progress meetings with clients, design teams, and local authorities to maintain transparent communication.
