Freelance Cladding Manager Required - Immediate Start - Cardiff

We are currently seeking an experienced Cladding Manager for an immediate start on a major project in Cardiff. This is a freelance opportunity for approximately 15 weeks, overseeing the successful delivery of cladding and fa-ade works through to completion.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing external envelope packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in accordance with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all on-site cladding and fa-ade installation activities.
* Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers.
* Monitor progress against programme and report on key milestones.
* Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications, drawings, and current regulations.
* Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging activities.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
* Liaise with the Project Manager, design teams, and client representatives.
* Ensure accurate site records and reporting are maintained.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Cladding Manager or Fa-ade Manager on construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, and external envelope systems.
* Excellent understanding of quality assurance and compliance requirements.
* SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification essential.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme performance.
