The role will act as the Principal Contractor under CDM 2015, taking responsibility for site activities, subcontractors, safety, quality, programme delivery and stakeholder management. This is a specialist HV Site Manager requirement rather than a general construction/retrofit Site Manager. The existing GFS profile covers general construction delivery, CDM, contractor management and programme responsibilities, but this requirement needs much stronger HV electrical experience. The existing profile, for example, focuses on PAS2030/PAS2035, MCS, Gas Safe and Building Regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage 11kV and 33kV HV construction works, including cable installation, jointing, substations, earthing systems and commissioning.
