Site Manager

My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a tunnelling and shafts project in Loughborough, with an immediate start available. This is a 6-month contract, so previous experience managing underground civils is essential. Site Manager Responsibilities: Managing day-to-day site operations Supervising subcontractors and site teams Managing tunnelling and shaft construction works Toolbox talks Client and stakeholder liaison Health and safety compliance Managing RAMS, permits and temporary works Coordinating labour, plant and materials Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification Monitoring quality and maintaining site records Reporting progress to the Project Manager Site Manager Requirements: Black or Gold CSCS SMSTS Strong tunnelling and shaft experience is essential Previous experience managing underground civils projects Strong civil engineering background Experience with deep excavations and temporary works Experience managing subcontractors and site teams Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety requirements Full UK driving licence The next steps to apply for the role!
