      <description>Location: Exeter | Salary: &amp;pound;300 - &amp;pound;350/day | Type: Contract | Site Manager-   We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major water treatment scheme, overseeing construction activities including treatment works, shafts, pipelines, civils and associated infrastructure.   Key Responsibilities     Manage day-to-day site activities and site teams.   Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.   Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.   Oversee construction activities including shaft works, excavations, concrete structures, pipelines and treatment facilities.   Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and quality requirements are followed.   Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.    Requirements     Previous Site Management experience on water, wastewater, utilities or major civil engineering projects.   SMSTS and relevant CSCS card.   Strong understanding of health &amp; safety, RAMS and CDM.   Experience managing subcontractors and complex construction activities.   Experience with shaft construction or underground works is highly desirable.   Good communication, leadership and organisational skills.</description>
