Site Manager My client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a major railway infrastructure scheme. Site Manager Responsibilities Manage the day to day delivery of rail and associated civil engineering works, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements. Oversee site operations including drainage, earthworks, structures, trackside civils, ducting, troughing, concrete works, and associated railway infrastructure activities. Lead and coordinate Site Engineers, Foremen, operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers, promoting a collaborative and high-performing site environment. Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with Network Rail standards, project specifications, drawings, RAMS, permits, and company procedures. Plan and manage labour, plant, materials, access arrangements, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones and maintain productivity. Work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team, designers, Network Rail representatives, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues. Monitor project progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation measures to maintain programme and budget targets.
