Site Manager - Retail / Shop fitout

CJS Recruitment are looking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day management of retail and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This can lead to a long term opportunity for a motivated individual with proven experience managing complex long term projects in the retail and commercial sectors.

AREAS COVERED - LONDON / SURREY / ESSEX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage daily site operations, including labour, materials, subcontracts and equipment

- Oversee works including inspection, repair and compliance with manufacture specifications

- Implement and manage Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)

- Ensure accurate documentation is maintained including site diaries, inspection records and compliance certificates

- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management

- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings

REQUIREMENTS:

- SMSTS ( essential )

- Black & Gold CSCS Card ( essential )

- First Aid at Work 3-day Qualification ( essential )

- Proven experience in managing long-term retail or commercial construction projects

- Strong leadership and communications skills

- Sound knowledge of construction process, health & safety and building regulations
