About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of an established, forward-thinking Principal Contractor based in Hampshire. Known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality schemes across a varied portfolio, this ambitious team is looking for an energetic and proactive Site Manager to lead on-site delivery for an exciting 12-month project near Winchester.
This role offers flexible payment options-open to candidates seeking either a daily rate contract or a 12-month fixed-term salary-and provides a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive environment where your expertise will directly shape project success.
Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership: Oversee day-to-day site operations and manage multi-disciplinary subcontractor teams.
Health & Safety: Maintain strict H&S compliance and best practice across all site activities.
Delivery & Quality: Drive progress against the project programme while maintaining high standards of quality, working closely with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the client and design team.
What We''re Looking For
Experience: 5+ years of proven track record as a Site Manager.
Qualifications: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, Asbestos Awareness, and Temporary Works Coordinator tickets.
Tech Skills: IT literate with experience using construction management software (Procore experience preferred).
Logistics: Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
Mindset: An energetic, enthusiastic, and solutions-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative, proactive team setting.
