Senior Site Manager - West LondonLocation: Near Hammersmith / Shepherd''s BushDuration: 21 September - 30 September Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm Contract: FreelanceWe''re currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a busy commercial project in West London, working on a short-term package involving the closure of an existing retail unit.This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who is comfortable working in a live, high-profile environment and can take ownership of site operations, health and safety and subcontractor coordination.The RoleManage day-to-day site operations and subcontractorsEnsure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programmeMaintain high standards of health and safetyCoordinate trades and manage site logisticsLiaise with the project team and relevant stakeholdersEnsure site records, RAMS and permits are maintainedDrive quality and ensure works are completed to the required standardMaintain a professional approach when working within a busy public-facing environmentRequirementsPrevious experience as a Site Manager on commercial, retail or refurbishment projectsSMSTS - essentialFirst Aid - essentialStrong understanding of site health and safetyConfident managing subcontractors and site teamsExcellent communication and organisational skillsAble to work independently and take responsibility for the siteA key part of the roleThe project operates a strict site safety system, including a yellow/red card process.
