We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a busy residential construction project in Hatfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking for a temp-to-perm position with a well-established contractor.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of a scattered homes residential development, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Previous experience managing pitched roof installations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across scattered residential units.
• Oversee pitched roof construction and ensure works are completed to specification.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Monitor programme progress and maintain project schedules.
• Carry out quality inspections and resolve site issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate site records and communicate effectively with the project team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience managing pitched roof works.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work areas across a scattered homes development.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
